MediaCast is a FREE App for the ANDROID operating system that allows you to easily broadcast your web radio station via phone.

To install MediaCast on your phone, click here.

Live broadcast on a web radio via smartphone using MediaCast is quite simple.

Let's jump right in!

Click on the 3 vertical lines in the upper left corner after opening the app:

Once you have done that, click on "Settings".

The following window will open:

In "General", the main settings you need to configure are:

Server type: Icecast V2

Music directory: You must select the folder where your music files are stored, so that way the app can list them for playback.

Encoder: MP3 or AAC

Here is a detail: MediaCast is the only free App that allows you to live stream on your web radio via Android smartphone in AAC or MP3.

We recommend that you set up your live broadcast via your Android smartphone using the same data as Auto Dj.

In case your Auto Dj is in AAC, use AAC.

If Auto Dj is in MP3, use MP3.

Once you have configured the settings, click "Icecast Settings" at the top.

You will set up this window with your broadcast data.

The data for setting up the encoder of the broadcasting app can be obtained through your BRLOGIC Account.

Click on "Manage my online radio" and then "Online radio".

On this screen, look for "Broadcaster passwords" and then "Broadcast info".

Use the options below to identify which fields should be changed in MediaCast!

Whenever you complete a change, click "Acept".

Returning to the home screen, you can start your broadcast by pressing "Connect".

To end the broadcast, tap "Stop".

Below these buttons you will find the volume controls for voiceover, music and also the button to start voiceover.

By clicking on "Music" at the top of the screen you will have access to the audio files available on your device.

You must select the correct folder in "Music directory" field, from the settings menu.

Done!

Now you have one more App option for live streaming your radio station via an Android phone.
