Our platform offer a complete system, allowing you to manage your radio and interact easily with your audience.

With it, you can interact with your listeners and visitors through a chat system, receive their messages, song requests, broadcast in real time an image of your studio, and obviously, broadcast your audio to the internet.

This guide intends to show you how to start to manage your radio, by configuring your broadcast and customizing your website.

The first step to start to manage your radio is add all your basic informations, as the name of your radio, description and all the keywords, infos that can and will be used by search mechanisms to index your radio.

1 – Basic information

This one is a fast and a really important step, so please, don’t ignore! 😛

Access your radio Admin panel, and go to “Site” and then, “Settings“:

Here, change the fields “Online radio station name (displayed on website title)“, “Online radio station name (displayed on website footer)“, “Description” and “Keywords“:

Done!

Click on “Save” at the bottom of the page.

2 – How to customize your website layout

Now it’s time to customize your website!

Check out these special guide to show you how to do this in the most efficient way:

With this guide you’ll learn how to customize the layout, colors, fonts and more!

3 – How to broadcast via Auto Dj

The Auto Dj is a tool to automatic broadcast on your online radio.

With this tool you can let your radio broadcast 24/7 with a full scheduling, and without the need of a computer always on!

To start your Auto Dj broadcast, the first step is upload some songs to your system. Click here to learn how to use the File Manager.

Once the upload has been done, you need to create a new playlist.

Creating a playlist is the last step you need to start your broadcast! Click here to learn how to create and edit playlists.

Now that your online radio station is broadcasting, it is time to create a schedule.

You can schedule your playlists to run in a specific time! Click here to learn how to create a scheduling on your Auto Dj.

4 – How to LIVE broadcast

Now that your online radio is already broadcasting on Auto Dj, it is time to take a new step and start to broadcast LIVE.

You only need a computer and a network connection!

On your computer you’ll need a broadcast “encoder” software, which is the one who will “send” your audio to the internet, and an audio automation software, which will play your audio files, like musics, jingles and ads.

Our recommendations are the softwares OddCast v3 as encoder, and ZaraRadio as audio automation software.

Both softwares are totally free, and by far the most used on branch.

You can voiceover during your live broadcast as well.

To do so you can use specific hardware, like condenser microphones and soundboards, but by far it is not mandatory.

You can voiceover on your live broadcast with an outstanding quality using only a microphone connected to your computer, assisted by a virtual soundboard software.

Our recommendation is Voicemeeter, an excellent option free of charge.

Click here to learn how to configure your radio with Voicemeeter.
